Taking trips always seem to bring the family much closer together. That's why we always find time for them in spite Dad's hectic schedule.

Steaming Hot Springs! They're found in Mt. Unzen-the volcanic mountain errupted on 1992 and savagely claimed the lives of 14,000 people. Taken on Sept. 6, 2000.

Nagasaki was the only place in Japan allowed contact with the outside world during the Edo Period when Japan was a closed nation. It still has the exoticism it had back then.

The Black Monolith behind us marks the actual place where the Atomic bomb was dropped by the B-29 bomber "Bockscar" on August 9, 1945 at 11:02 A.M. The explosion of the bomb
devastated Nagasaki and killed 73,884 people.

City.This church was built by French Fryer, Fr. Petitjean on 1864 as a place of prayer for foreign nationals living in the area. It is the oldest wooden gothic-style church in Japan and is designated a National Treasure.

Kyushu, here we come!!! This picture was taken in Fukuoka Prefecture-the starting point of our tour. Fukuoka is the center of commerce in Kyushu. It is one of Japan's 6 largest
cities.
